Research Interests

I have a strong interest in the research fields of biogeochemistry (terrestrial and aquatic), stable isotope biogeochemistry as well as microbial ecology.

My current research focus lies on the elucidation of the production and consumption of nitrous oxide (N2O) in semi-terrestrial soils and the biogeochemical pathways involved.
